April Sullivan, PT, DPT

Functional Medicine Practioner

My name is April Sullivan and I am a wife and mother of 3 beautiful children. I obtained my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University in 2004 and have been in practice for 14 years. During this time I have seen many patients who have chronic, complex illness and unrelenting pain. As a therapist I was frustrated that I could not treat the entire person with physical therapy. I saw many underlying causes that had not been addressed. So, I started searching and found functional medicine. I have since completed the ADAPT training program through the Kresser Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine.
