Advanced Lab Testing
Advanced functional labs provide detailed insight into the health status of a variety of your body’s systems.
This level of testing can be used to:
* Dig deeper diagnostically to identify key health imbalances/potential root causes
* Learn more about your personal health status to identify functional targets for health optimization (prevention/optimization)
If an advanced lab is indicated, our practitioners will either provide you with a take-home test kit in-office, give you a test kit to take to a lab, or have the test kit mailed directly to you. Tests requiring urine or salivary samples can typically be collected at home, then sent for analysis in the pre-postmarked package. If a blood draw is required, you will bring the test kit to a local lab to be drawn.

IV Ozone (MAH) + Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation
MAH, or Major Autohemotherapy, combined with Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UBI) acts as non-specific, immune-stimulant therapy.
IV Ozone-UBI is a new treatment technique that utilizes two oxidative treatments: MAHT (Major Auto Hemo Therapy) and ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI). We combine 60cc of the patient’s own blood, ozone, and heparin in a saline solution. This mixture is then passed through a UBI device and returned to the patient’s body.
What are Ozone’s Mechanisms of Action? Basically, ozone activates the immune system and stimulates oxygen metabolism in cells. Ozone helps support all diseases that involve inflammation.
Ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI) was extensively used in the 1940s and 1950s to treat many diseases including septicemia, pneumonia, tuberculosis, arthritis, asthma and even poliomyelitis. The early studies were carried out by several physicians in USA and published in the American Journal of Surgery. However, with the development of antibiotics, the use of UBI declined and it has now been called “the cure that time forgot”. Only 5–7% of blood volume needs to be treated with UV to produce the optimum benefit. The process of exposing blood to ultraviolet light rays creates an immune response called an “autogenous vaccine”. This stimulates the immune system to destroy pathogens, no matter if they are viral, bacterial, or fungal.

LENS

Assisted Lymphatic Therapy
Assisted Lymphatic Therapy is a gentle, light touch, non-invasive technique to stimulate the proper flow and drainage of the lymphatic system. A combination of vibrational, light, and electrical waves help to stimulate the flow by causing the dissociation of proteins that have become trapped in the interstitium. When trapped proteins (not to be confused with nutrient proteins) release their bond, the stagnate lymph is liberated and will flow out into its normal filtration and reabsorption channels. This technique offers qualified therapists a natural complement to their existing healthcare protocols.
